airpods max finally letting me focus during the 3pm chaos

been using these apple airpods max for a couple months now after grabbing the space gray ones for around 549 when they dipped a bit. as a remote work parent in seattle the noise canceling is honestly a lifesaver with the kids doing their zoom calls and snack time meltdowns right behind my desk. i can actually hear my own thoughts during afternoon meetings and the spatial audio makes the team calls feel less flat. comfort wise theyre pretty good for long stretches though my ears do get a tad warm after like two hours straight. the battery lasts forever which is clutch when im bouncing between work and helping with homework. only small thing is theyre kinda heavy if i forget and wear them while chasing the dog around the yard but overall theyve made my noisy home office way more bearable. anyone else juggling similar stuff with these?

yeah i get that 3pm window too on the red line downtown. switched to these after my last pair died mid commute and the battery easily lasts my full round trip plus the office grind. noise cancel cuts the train rattle enough that i can actually answer emails without losing my spot. mine are the silver ones picked up used but still going strong after a year.
mine are the same pair and yeah that 3pm witching hour used to kill my calls. now i just slip them on and the yelling turns into a low hum while i finish spreadsheets. only downside is my 4yo keeps trying to "borrow" them for his tablet cartoons so i hide them after use lol. still worth every bit of the deal price though
