sky dome torc lamp in my phoenix living room

grabbed the brightech sky dome dimmable led floor lamp torc for around 70 bucks last month and its been solid next to the couch for evening reading. the brass finish matches my side table pretty well and the dimmer goes from bright enough for my projects down to super low for movie nights without any flicker. only thing is the base feels a tad light if my dog bumps it but nothing tipped over yet. anyone else running these in a hot az room long term?

was kinda skeptical at first since i usually stick to basic lamps from the big box stores but the adjustable arm on this torc one actually stays put when i nudge it while reading my tablet at night. had a small wobble issue out of the box but their support sent a quick replacement part and now its rock steady next to my phoenix couch. the brass look grew on me too. yeah id grab another if this one ever gives out.

yeah i saw that one dip to 68 with the free ship last month but held off cuz my place has those low ceilings. ended up grabbing a similar one for 82 shipped and its been fine for reading but the brass on yours looks like it picks up the phoenix sun better in pics. you ever crank the dimmer all the way down or does it still feel too much for late night tv?
