my friend in cambridge has been borrowing my old one nonstop so i grabbed this 4 port gan usb c version during that flash sale for around 60 bucks. works great on our weekend trips up to maine, charges everything fast with zero heat buildup. only tiny thing is the plug feels a bit stiff at first but its all good now, already told two other pals to watch for the next drop.

kinda jealous tbh my dorm setup is a mess of cables and my old charger barely keeps up during all nighters. saw that flash sale pop but i was in a lecture and by the time i checked it was gone. glad your buddy in cambridge is set now tho, those weekend maine runs sound fun. does it really stay that cool when everything is plugged in at once? mine gets kinda warm after a bit

kinda wish i had snagged one too tbh, my dorm setup is a total cable mess with my laptop and ipad and this old brick that gets super warm. your buddy in cambridge is lucky lol i bet that 4 port thing saves so much space on weekend trips. did it come with the right cables or did u have to dig around for extras? mine would prob be perfect for late night study sessions without the heat drama

was kinda skeptical at first about dropping even the sale price on another one since my old charger had been solid for years but my buddy kept snagging it every weekend. the support chat guy walked me through swapping in the new 4 port without losing my saved presets or whatever and now its been powering all our maine gear on trips with zero fuss. id grab another in a heartbeat if they dip again
